About the Awards
The Southern California Chapter of CoreNet Global presents the 2022 REmmy Awards Gala November 11th. Together, with our peers, we recognize nominees and honor outstanding achievement in corporate real estate. These awards go to professionals and teams who demonstrate standards of excellence and best practices in our field. We will celebrate stellar examples of the corporate real estate profession and the positive impact of the workplace.

To submit a nomination, please review the following guidelines. If you have any questions, contact us at southerncalifornia@CoreNetGlobal..
Nomination submissions should address the award criteria, as detailed for each award on the following pages. Submissions will be judged against these criteria and responses must specifically answer the nomination criteria for the submission to be considered complete. The narrative should provide specific examples of how the award criteria were met. We strongly encourage your submission to speak directly to the criteria, describe accomplishments and outcomes, and highlight measurable results.
- Nominations must be submitted using the online Nomination.
- Only one nomination per Form is allowed.
- Each submission may be no longer than two pages of text.
- Workplace submissions may include up to four companies.
- For Corporate Executive/Team, Young Leader and Service Provider of the Year, we request company logos and headshots of the nominee(s).
- To be eligible, nominations must include one CoreNet member in good standing at the time of the nomination.
- For Corporate Executive/Team, Young Leader and Service Provider of the Year, the nominee must be a CoreNet member. For Corporate Executive Team, one of the team members must be a CoreNet member.
- For the Innovative Project of the Year, one person on the team must be a CoreNet member
- Nominations may be submitted by anyone, including non-CoreNet members
All submissions are the property of the Southern California Chapter of CoreNet Global and Chapter has the right to use all submitted text, images, and photos in social media, press releases, etc. The Chapter reserves the right, in its sole reasonable discretion, to remove a nominee/nomination from the selection process. Chapter and CoreNet Global shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any statements submitted on a nomination. All parties included in the nomination must have advanced awareness of and approve the submission.
The deadline to submit a nomination is Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 5:00pm. All fields on the form must be filled in. Any changes to the nomination form will not be accepted after submission.

REmmy’s judges represent a diversity of backgrounds in the corporate real estate profession. They are recognized as leaders of the profession and committed to CoreNet Global. All judges are members of CoreNet Global and affiliated with Chapters other than Southern California. Judges will keep confidential all discussion related to nomination submissions and selection processes. They will review all submissions against the criteria described below.

AWARD DESRIPTION
Corporate Real Estate Executive or Real Estate Team of the Year (individual or team nomination)
Recognizes the corporate real estate (CRE) executive and/or team that made outstanding and distinguished contributions to their company and to the profession. This executive or team is dedicated to ensuring a safe, productive, and engaging workplace. This award category is limited to End Users.

AWARD DESCRIPTION
Young Leader of the Year
Recognizes the Young Leader who showed a dedication and enthusiasm for his/her work and contributed to his/her profession or recognized by his/her employer for achieving substantial and lasting influence. This individual exemplifies excellence and should be considered ‘one to watch’ in the field of corporate real estate (CRE) in any member category. The nominee must be age 36 or younger as of December 2022.

Innovative Workplace
Recognizes Innovation in workplace design or construction, based on the total square footage of the build-out:
- Innovative Workplace 50,000 SF or Less
- Innovative Workplace Greater than 50,000 SF
Please note:
- Submissions for Innovative Workplace must be a joint effort by one of the project’s service providers and the end user (client). The award will be presented to both.
- One of the team members must be a member of the Southern California Chapter of CoreNet Global at the time of submission and through December 2021.
- The project must be completed/occupied between August 1, 2021 and July 31, 2022and the project must be in Southern California or the team must be based in Southern California
- If a nomination is submitted by a service provider, the service provider must have written approval from the end user (client) for such nomination and use of photos.
- All team member info must be completed. Design Firm, Brokerage Firm, Project Management Firm, MEP, Lighting Designer and Furniture Dealer is considered a team member.
