This dynamic presentation will provide an overview of the business case for environmentally responsible building operations and maintenance. Best practices related to operations and maintenance procedures, building upgrades, and retrofits for improved building performance and reduced operating costs will be covered. The LEED-GBOM Rating system will be briefly discussed, including certification and implementation process.
Beckman Coulter develops, manufactures and markets producst that simplify, automate and innovate complex biomedical testing. As world leader in biomedical, the company is also a local environmental leader. John Riegel, Group Manager, Human Resources, will discuss the company's motivations for seeking LEED Gold certification in the recent renovation of their Brea campus.
